What do you do after installing your system? how long do you wait for all your applications to be installed and ready to use?
In the past i was storing my applications in a special folder called “Applications” and whenever i was installing my OS i was going step-by-step thru all my applications to install everything i needed.
Generally i use freeware applications, and i don’t like cracked/hacked applications …and i don’t recommend them to anyone. I feel the same about paid applications that are offering the same things as a freeware.
Giving that my laptop is old, and he is not so “smart” as newer computers, i use Windows XP (with license) and sometimes for fun/speed i use Ubuntu 10.10.
So, a very fast way to install all your stuff is to use “The Easiest, Fastest Way to Update or Install Software” aka* ninite.com.
it is my favorite website to do this task for me.
They have a lot of categories like Web Browsers, Messaging, Media, Runtimes, Imaging, Documents, Security, File Sharing, Utilities, Compression, Dev Tools.
From here you will choose what you wish to install, and the process is almost over. you need now to download a small file and run it. This application will download and install the latest version. You don’t need to do anything, just wait.
It supports both Windows and Linux. No Mac yet.
No registration needed.
Good luck.
