I was all the time running out of space on my Samsung Galaxy 551, and I started to search what can I do to get rid of this problem.
Solution: Partitioning your mSD card
On internet you can find a lot of blogs that tell you how to do it, but it is something tricky… you need a custom ROM, and for Galaxy 551 we don’t have …yet.
ATTENTION: This procedure will delete any information that you have on mSD. I am not responsible for any damage that YOU do.
The easiest way to do this:
1. It is to download MiniTool Partition Wizard (it’s free) and install it
2. Connect your phone with USB in UMS mode (or with a card reader)
3. From the program delete the partition, and now we will create 3 new partitions
First one, PRIMANRY FAT32 (size depends on your mSD card. I put mine to 7000 Mb because my mSD is 8Gb)
Second one, PRIMARY EXT2 (I set mine at 500Mb, this is where the app will be installed,). Attention, if you put EXT3 it won’t work, at least for this phone.
Third one, PRIMARY LINUXSWAP (and you put here how much u have left, mine is 120 Mb)
